Location

The Egyptian government instituted BCRC-Egypt within one of the most outstanding academic and research institutes in the region, Cairo University. First, the Centre was hosted inside Cairo University Centre for Environmental Hazard Mitigation (CEHM), with significant geophysical and chemical lab facilities and vast national and regional expertise in environmental issues. In 2013, BCRC-Egypt was separated from CEHM and Cairo University donated BCRC-Egypt a new premises inside the University Student Hostel, to host it.
