Basel Regional Centre Visit to El-Quadah Language Schools to Study the Environmental Program for Schools

Within the framework of the awareness program for schools provided by the Regional Center for Training and Technology Transfer of the Basel Convention, the Regional Center visited and met with the directors of the Leaders Language Schools, which were established in 1992 in Giza, Arab Republic of Egypt, to explain and clarify the role of the Regional Center in environmental awareness and the possibility of holding environmental awareness courses with the aim of achieving and introducing sustainable development goals. It was agreed to hold successive awareness courses, the schedule of which would be determined according to school hours and holidays. A field tour of the school was conducted and the best places were chosen to hold awareness courses. The Director of the Center presented the school principal with the Center’s bronze medal bearing the Basel logo and a map of the Arab countries under the umbrella of the Regional Center.
